Fire Hydrant System

A hydrant system consists of a network of pipes connected directly to the main water supply source to provide water to every hydrant outlet during an emergency. Every Hydrant has one or more outlets to which a fire hose may be connected. The hydrant system helps out the firefighters in the process of fire suppression.

Fire Hydrant System

A fire hydrant system is a network of underground pipes connected to a primary water supply, providing access points (fire hydrants) where firefighters can readily attach hoses to draw water for fire suppression purposes during an emergency; essentially, it's a readily accessible water source for firefighting operations by providing multiple connection points throughout a designated area.

Water supply source:

The main water supply line that feeds the network of pipes.

Underground piping:

The system of pipes that distribute water from the source to individual fire hydrants.

Fire hydrant:

The visible connection point above ground, with a valve that allows firefighters to access the water supply by attaching a hose.
